Day 1: Arrival In Leh

  • Welcome to Leh! Upon your arrival at Leh Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a simple and light lunch upon checking in. As Leh is situated at an altitude of 11,000 feet, we highly recommend taking the day to rest and hydrate. Avoid any strenuous activities to allow your body to acclimatize to the high altitude. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and adjusting to your new surroundings. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Explore Leh

  • After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive alongside the Indus River to witness the confluence of the Zanskar and Indus Rivers at Sangam. Along the way, explore the Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, marvel at the Magnetic Hill where vehicles seemingly defy gravity, and visit the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the Kargil War. In the afternoon, visit the serene Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Return to your hotel and unwind for the rest of the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (140 km / Approx. 5 Hours)

  • Post-breakfast, check out of your hotel and begin your journey to Nubra Valley, crossing the majestic Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,832 feet above sea level. Enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and the glacier-laden roads. Upon reaching Nubra Valley, an oasis of Ladakh, check in and savor your lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Hunder sand dunes and witness the unique Double-Hump Bactrian camels (camel rides available at an additional cost). Spend your leisure time exploring the picturesque sand dunes. Return to your camp for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (165 km / Approx. 6 Hours)

  • After breakfast, set off for Pangong Lake, situated at 14,500 feet. Travel via the scenic Agham and Shyok villages to reach this stunning saltwater lake, renowned for its mesmerizing blue waters framed by towering Himalayan peaks. Check in to your camp and enjoy a relaxing lunch. Spend the afternoon leisurely exploring the area, known for its appearance in numerous Bollywood films. Capture the breathtaking scenery with your camera. Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh (160 km / Approx. 6 Hours)

  • After an early breakfast and sunrise views, check out of your camp and drive back to Leh. En route, visit the Thiksey Monastery, perched on a hill with sweeping views of the Indus Valley. Admire the massive seated statue of Maitreya and the Dukhang assembly hall with its collection of prayer books. Continue to Shey Palace, the former summer residence of the Ladakh king. Return to your hotel in the early evening, where you can relax. Optionally, visit the local market for souvenirs (pick-up and drop-off to the market are on a direct payment basis). Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Departure

  • Enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Transfer to Leh Airport to catch your flight back home, taking with you beautiful memories of your extraordinary journey.
